Dileep to Remake Vicky Donor

First time ever in his career spanning twenty years, Dileep is planning to remake a Bollywood movie. He has acquired the rights of Hindi super hit movie Vicky Donor, which deals with the issues of infertility and sperm donation in a light hearted way. Dileep himself will portray the role of Vicky, played by Ayushman Khurana in the original. The other details including director & script writer have not been decided. Vicky Donor Malayalam will be one of the most expected releases of Dileep in 2013.

The story is about a doctor, a fertility expert, who runs a clinic and a sperm bank in a small village. He guarantees high quality and specialized sperms for couples. But he has more failed cases in his credit than success stories. When he is badly in need of a healthy and high performer sperm donor, the doctor bumps into a happy go lucky guy. What follows next is a series of entertaining as well as thought evoking incidents.

“I had seen the movie Vicky Donor and was very much impressed with the subject. More than the business angle, it’s the plot of the story that caught my fancy. Infertility is a major issue, which is socially relevant across the country. The commercial success too proved that the subject was well received by the audience” says Dileep
