Dileep In And As Baba Sathya Sai - His First Multi Lingual Movie

Dileep is all set to play the spiritual leader Sathya Sai Baba in his first multi lingual big budget movie, Baba Sathya Sai. This movie is based on the life of Sai Baba and it narrates the services of the Godman, his love for people and God. “This is going to be a totally different experience! I am very happy that I have been given a chance to act as the spiritual head. I will be enacting the Baba’s years from age 25-85. The schedule is also going to be one of the longest I have done with locations right from Kanyakumari to Kashmir including Puttaparthi and the Himalayas” says Dileep

The budget of this movie is Rs. 60 crores as per the reports. The remuneration for him to play the role of Sai Baba is said to be 7 crores and with this movie Dileep has become the highest paid Malayalam actor ever. He has given 50 days for the shoot of this film, which will start filming his portions in September 2012. Dileep is doing homework to make this role a success. “I am watching a lot of videos and reading books on Baba’s life. More than the way I talk, the importance must be given to expressions and mannerisms”, says Dileep.

As per the early reports Anushka Shetty is doing a pivotal role in the film. Another Malayalam actor Sreejith Vijay will be doing the role of younger Sai Baba. Other major cast includes Jayaprada (as Baba’s mother), Sarath Babu (as Baba’s father) and Sukumari. Telugu hit maker Kodi Ramakrishna is wielding the megaphone and this movie is produced by Karatam Rambabu.
