Dileep to Remake Vicky Donor
First time ever in his career spanning twenty years, Dileep is planning to remake a Bollywood movie. He has acquired the rights of Hindi super hit movie Vicky Donor, which deals with the issues of infertility and sperm donation in a light hearted way. Dileep himself will portray the role of Vicky, played by Ayushman Khurana in the original. The other details including director & script writer have not been decided. Vicky Donor Malayalam will be one of the most expected releases of Dileep in 2013.
Dileep Bags The Best Actor Award
It was a long wait for Dileep as well as all those who love him, to get a state award for best actor from Kerala Govt. Finally a dream come true, a much delayed recognition from the govt. of Kerala. Dileep has bagged the best actor award for 2011 for his astonishing performance in Vellari Pravinte Changaathi. In fact this is a tight slap on the face of critics who say Dileep can't do serious roles and his acting has shades of mimicry.
Dileep In And As Baba Sathya Sai - His First Multi Lingual Movie
Dileep is all set to play the spiritual leader Sathya Sai Baba in his first multi lingual big budget movie, Baba Sathya Sai. This movie is based on the life of Sai Baba and it narrates the services of the Godman, his love for people and God. “This is going to be a totally different experience! I am very happy that I have been given a chance to act as the spiritual head. I will be enacting the Baba’s years from age 25-85. The schedule is also going to be one of the longest I have done with locations right from Kanyakumari to Kashmir including Puttaparthi and the Himalayas” says Dileep
