My Boss (2012)
Dileep and Mamtha join for the third time, after Renjith Shankar’s trendsetter Passenger and Shyamaprasad’s critically acclaimed Arike, for yet another beautiful romantic tale My Boss. Set in the backdrop of Mumbai and Kuttanad, My Boss presents the story of conflicts between an IT professional Manu Varma and his Lady Boss Priya. Dileep plays the role of Manu Varma and Mamtha does the role of Priya.
Mr. Marumakan (2012)
Ashok Raj, played by Dileep, is the son of Rajagopalan Thampy (Nedumudi Venu). He is a lawyer by profession but his interest lies in reviving a defunct drama troupe called Bharatha Kalakshetram, which was run by his family. For this Ashok Raj even changed his name to Ashok Chakravarthi. Now Ashok Raj aka Ashok Chakravarthi is directing a drama called Dasavatharam for his troupe. His elder brother Babu Raj (Biju Menon) who completed studies abroad and started business in Kerala is in a financial mess.
Arike (2012)
After critically acclaimed movie Orma Mathram, Dileep is doing yet another serious film titled Arike. This will be directed by Shyamaprasad, who has won several state, national and international film awards. This is for the second time Dileep teaming up with Shyamaprasad. Earlier they worked together in Kallukondoru Pennu, which was released in 1998. Mamtha and Samrutha will be the heroines of Arike.As per the director, Arike deals with emotional attachments which are very close to us and complexities of our relations. The theme of this movie is inspired from a Bangali story written by Sunil Gangopadhyay.
